Confidentiality
Having a safe and private place to talk is a critical component of successful therapy. I take confidentiality very seriously.  All information disclosed in session is confidential and protected under law.  No information may be revealed to anyone without your written permission except where disclosure is required by law, such as when:

• There is reason to suspect child or elder abuse or neglect;
  
• The client presents a clear threat to do serious bodily harm to self or others;
  
• There is a court order.
  

Insurance
I accept all major types of insurance with the exception of Kaiser plans.  Copays are due at the time of your appointment and are payable in check or cash.  A sliding scale is available for clients without insurance who have financial need.

In the event of an emergency please call the 24hr access line at (808)-753-6879, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.
